How We Choose Products
Last updated 2026-06-21
Gate 1: Real Products Only
Every product we rank must be a genuine item sold on Amazon with a complete product listing, real product images from the manufacturer and a verifiable ASIN. Generic, counterfeit or listing-only items without real sales history are excluded before any other evaluation begins.
Gate 2: Verified Buyer Demand
A product must show meaningful, verified buyer demand to qualify for our rankings. We require at least 100 verified owner reviews or a confirmed volume of recent purchases. Products with very low sales history are excluded because there is not enough real-world feedback to rank them fairly against products with proven demand.
Gate 3: Rating of 3.8 Stars or Higher
Products must hold a rating of at least 3.8 out of 5 stars from verified buyers at the time of evaluation. This floor removes items with consistent quality complaints from buyer feedback. A product that drops below this threshold after evaluation is removed from rankings at the next review cycle.
Gate 4: Real Brand and Final Ranking
Products must come from a brand with verifiable market presence, either an established manufacturer with its own product line or a brand confirmed to have real buyer traffic and distribution. Unverifiable generic brands are excluded. Products that pass all four gates are then ranked by a weighted combination of rating, review count, buyer demand and price to determine their position in each category list.
